On June 12–13, the Japan Enterprises Guangdong Tour was held at Guangzhou’s Baiyun International Auditorium. Organized as part of Guangdong Province’s efforts to deepen economic ties and accelerate high-level openness, the event aimed to showcase the region’s newest development opportunities and foster mutually beneficial collaboration between Japanese companies and Guangdong enterprises .

The event featured 11 leading companies—including Dongfeng Nissan, Wutian Aviation, and PadBot Robot—presenting technologies in AI, automotive, and aerospace. These exhibitors accounted for over 60% of showcased innovations, demonstrating strong interest and robust dialogue between Japanese and Guangdong firms.

PadBot Robot Steals the Spotlight with Live Demonstrations
PadBot Robot was honored as one of the stellar Guangzhou enterprises invited to this high-level trade and technology forum. Our booth showcased live demonstrations of several of our advanced service robots, including the X3 guide robot, dancing robot P3 and S2 patrol robot. The X3 attracted particular attention from the Japanese delegation and visiting guests, who were impressed by its AI-powered face recognition, multilingual vocal capabilities, and intelligent guide functions. Dozens of attendees spent extended time engaging with the X3—asking questions, testing its navigation skills, and expressing strong interest in potential cross-border deployments and collaboration.

Deep Engagement and Growth on the Horizon
During the event, PadBot’s leadership and R&D team held insightful discussions with Japanese business representatives and technology experts. They covered indoor navigation solutions, human–machine interaction, and deployment of service robots in commercial and educational environments. Several Japanese participants expressed eagerness to explore pilot programs combining PadBot’s solutions with smart campus and smart facility ecosystems. Many cited appreciation for the seamless integration of tableware delivery, security patrol, and visitor guidance functions—underscoring the potential for new bilateral innovation projects between PadBot and Japanese partners.
